Lockdown study

I would like to thank all our study participants who gave us their time and shared their stories.

Young families living in lockdown in the UK

I am interested in learning about how lockdown has been for parents with babies (aged roughly 6-18 months during the lockdown period) in the UK. I am currently conducting a final round of conversational-style online interviews with mums and/or dads (can be together) about their experiences over the UK lockdown period, as well as what they think the long-term effects will be (if any) on baby.

I am especially interested in understanding how beneficial it might be by having dad at home much more than before, but I am also keen to hear about all kinds of ups and downs that families experienced during the lockdown.

I plan to revisit the study participants in three years' time for another interview to see how baby and the family is getting on.

Interviews have now closed for this project but keep an eye on this page for the results of phase one.
